I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience in traditional as well as alternative settings. I have worked extensively with individuals, couples, and groups in the following areas: Healing from childhood trauma Recovering from eating disorders, codependency, and other similar addictions Learning from our anger Changing patterns of blaming and shaming ourselves and others Working through our losses - acceptance and grieving Finding a spiritual context and facilitating our own growth My approach is informed by both my background in traditional psychotherapy and my training and experience with a variety of body/energy work and spiritual approaches to human development and evolution. For some clients simply talking about their issues seems useful. For others the use of specific techniques to help integrate material that is stored in the body and/or the energy field proves to be beneficial. My approach is anything but static.
